Mariza Almeida

Associate Professor on the Industrial Engineering School at Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO), PhD in Industrial Engineering at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She has a postdoctoral degree at Georgia Institute of Technology, School of Public Policy (2015) and University of Aveiro, Portugal (2021). She is currently a research coordinator of the Strategies of Entrepreneurship, knowledge sharing and Innovation Project at UNIRIO. It implemented the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Laboratory, the Pre-incubation, Incubation and Post-incubation Program of the UNIRIO Incubator. She has experience in technological innovation and industrial organization, working on the following themes: triple helix, entrepreneurial university, entrepreneurship, planning and development of innovative products in micro, small and medium companies, academic management and public policies of S T & I. She was an Agricultural Engineer at the State Government of Rio de Janeiro (1983–2012).
