Rosemary Iwanu Mutyabule

Rosemary is currently working as a Director, Business Advisory Services at Enterprise Uganda, a Center of Excellences for the delivery of business development services to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Over the last 30 years, she has worked with Private sector support institutions notably Uganda Investment Authority (10 years) and currently with Enterprise Uganda (20 years) at senior management level.

Rosemary holds a Master’s in Business Administration (Corporate Strategy and Economic policy), with Distinction, from the Maastricht school of Management, in The Netherlands and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Social Administration (Upper Second) from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. She also attended “An Effective Director’ training at the Strathmore Business school in Kampala.

Rosemary is a highly experienced private sector development specialist with good appreciation and understanding of the business ecosystem. She has a track record in design and management of entrepreneurship development projects and programs for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs); development of national private sector development polices and strategies; Stakeholder Engagement; Strategic planning; entrepreneurship and business management training & mentorship; and policy advocacy.

A Strongly networked, and business-oriented personality, Rosemary has served on institutional Boards as well as high-level national technical working groups. She currently serves on the Strategy Implementation Group of the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development; The technical working group on the Parish Development Model (PDM) under the Financial Inclusion Pillar; The Private Sector Development Technical Working group responsible for developing the National Development Plan (NDP III & IV).
