Maurel Houngavou is an entrepreneur and strategist known for his commitment to developing innovative solutions that support entrepreneurship in West Africa. As the Co-founder and CEO of TOogueda, he has been supporting SMEs, project leaders, and institutions for several years in structuring, capacity building, and accelerating local economic impact.

With an approach that combines innovation, digital tools, and strong field presence, Maurel has led numerous high-impact support programs, particularly in the fields of tech and youth entrepreneurship. Under his leadership, TOogueda has helped shape a new model of agile and accessible business support, placing people at the heart of the strategy.

In 2025, he launched OFICI, one of the most inclusive coworking spaces in the country, designed as a practical response to the needs of young professionals and entrepreneurs. He later expanded his initiatives to rural areas in partnership with Enabel, helping to strengthen Gangan Connect, the entrepreneurship hub of Kindia, and bring economic development services closer to remote regions.

Alongside his executive responsibilities, Maurel is a committed trainer across Africa. He notably served as a trainer for large-scale programs such as Boost with Facebook, which helped train over 15,000 entrepreneurs across the continent. He is also the co-founder of Devscom, one of Guinea’s largest tech communities with over 1,000 members, and the mission lead of the Catalyst program, focused on supporting climate and social impact projects in collaboration with GIZ. A deep connoisseur of the Guinean entrepreneurial ecosystem, he regularly serves as a consultant, trainer, or strategic advisor for transformation initiatives led by public, private, or international institutions.
