Emmeline Oliveira

I am currently the Innovation Superintendent for Government of the State of Bahia, with the main responsibility of assisting in the development and promotion of public policies focused on innovation, research and technological development in the state.

My work includes structuring strategic programs, promoting entrepreneurial innovation projects and coordinating between the government, the private sector and academia, ensuring the efficient implementation of initiatives that promote technological advancement and strengthen the innovation ecosystem in Bahia.

I am an advertising professional with a Master's degree in International Business from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona. I have a degree in E-Marketing from Middlesex University, E-Branding from the Chartered Institute of Marketing - England. I have a degree in Management & Leadership from Ohio University, USA and a Marketing Specialist from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.

As an entrepreneur, I founded the Converse Agency, which grew 300% in its first year of operation and in its second year was awarded a national award as an outstanding agency, being acquired seven years later.

As Innovation Manager at a consulting firm operating in over 15 countries, I led the team responsible for developing and scaling innovation projects for companies such as Natura, Electrolux, Neoenergia, Portal Terra, Bayer, Gol, Cimed, among others, through Corporate Venture Building, Corporate Venture Capital and Open Innovation strategies and vehicles.

I had the honor of bringing knowledge about Innovation and Conscious Capitalism to Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Puerto Rico and developing marketing and business expansion projects in the Brazilian, US and Latin American markets.

In addition, as an angel investor, I invest and support startups in the areas of Access to Capital, Go-to-Market, Ideation and Validation of new businesses through mentoring and facilitation.

I worked as the leader of Conscious Capitalism, helping to scale the branch in the Northeast and today, I work as a Branch Advisor in the 9 states of the region.
