Mohammed Eliyan

Mohammed Eliyan is an accomplished engineer, entrepreneur, and educator based in Qatar, with a dynamic career spanning electrical engineering, technological innovation, and public policy. A graduate of Qatar University in Electrical Engineering, he has combined technical expertise with a strong commitment to leadership and education. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), where he also leads the Entrepreneurship Club.

Mohammed is the General Manager and founding partner of SaVest, a technology company at Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP), developing innovative wearable cooling devices and advanced medical tools. He also founded SaFeet, a startup focused on diabetic foot care solutions, which has received support from HBKU, the Digital Incubation Center, and is showcased at WISH 2024.

His dedication to empowering youth and communities is evident through his roles as a trainer at Qatar Red Crescent Society and a mentor at INJAZ Qatar. He has taught electrical engineering at institutions like Rowad, BMTC, and Haward Technology Middle East Centre. He also volunteers for humanitarian efforts, including work with USAID and the Norwegian Refugee Council in Syrian refugee camps.

Passionate about the intersection of policy, technology, and entrepreneurship, Mohammed has contributed to global research initiatives, including the Stimson Center’s Global Governance Innovation Report 2024. His current projects include developing digital currencies for regional financial innovation and launching Course Coffee, an app combining education with café culture.

A strategic thinker with a strong ethical foundation, Mohammed Eliyan continues to shape impactful solutions for public health, education, and economic development in Qatar and beyond.
