Dr. Dhikra Amel Bouzid is an Associate Professor at the University Center of Illizi, Algeria, whose career has been dedicated to bridging academic learning with real-world impact. With more than a decade of experience in higher education, civic engagement, research, and youth training, she brings a multidisciplinary vision to her new role as Director of BLUE – The Office of the Institution’s Relationship with the University.

Her academic background spans English studies, educational research, critical pedagogy, AI-mediated learning, and civic education. Over the years, Dr. Bouzid has developed a strong portfolio of work on student empowerment, service learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the integration of youth voices in educational decision-making. She has also led numerous initiatives aimed at preparing students to become independent, skilled contributors to the economic and social development of their regions.
