Summary of Experience and qualification
I have more than 25 years of experience in teaching, training, research and community services in the area of Agriculture, especially dairy and meat sciences and technology; have a PhD and currently a full Professor of Agriculture (Livestock Production). Moreover, I received Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2023 and undertaking business development services in Collaboration with Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI)-Ethiopia; have four different TOTs, Trainer of Advisory Trainers (TOAT) and National Trainer of Entrepreneurship; has organized different international and national workshops and participated in different scientific forums; led an International mega project “Haramaya Camel Dairy” sponsored by Danish International Development Agent (DANIDA) from 2013 to 2018. Moreover, I have served as team member that developed World Bank Sponsored mega project entitled African Center of Excellence for Climate Smart Agriculture and Biodiversity Conservation (ACE ClimateSABC) in 2016. Won more than 10 research projects from Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR) and Haramaya University Research grants (HURG). I served as Director of University-Industry Linkage and Entrepreneurship Development from May 2018 to November 2023 and as Director for Entrepreneurship and Technology Incubation from December 2023 to May 2024. I also served as Head of School of Animal and Rangeland for two and half years with total of more than eight years of leadership, and five years of project management. I supervised more than 64 MSc and 12 PhD students’ thesis and dissertation works, respectively, and published more than 64 scientific papers. Delivered 12 trainings on Entrepreneurship to youth and women at national level and have been delivering business development services (BDS) to SMEs in Eastern Ethiopia. Recently took TOT on Public Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem Building Workshop (PEIEBW) from Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) Ethiopia.

5. Coordinated Youth Entrepreneurship Training (YET) delivered to more than 6000 youths
