Mmadiboka is currently the head of the Transnet Enterprise and Supplier Development winning Team which has come up with “innovative ways of doing Enterprise and Supplier development” and ensuring that South Africa does not only grow its Economy but also radically transforms it. She currently leads and oversees the overall Enterprise and Supplier Development strategies aligned to the broader National Policies and Regulatory Framework with specific emphasis on Competitive Supplier Development Programme, Enterprise and Supplier Development and B-BBEE in Transnet.She has steered the creation and development of various ground-breaking programmes such as:·       the Transnet Enterprise and Supplier Development Hubs – a “one stop shop”, 360 degree offering of services required by SMMEs and entrepreneurs, bringing together the private and public sector development and regulatory agencies under one roof to enable entrepreneurs to formalise their businesses.·       The Transnet Matlafatšo Centres and Transnet Moving Ideas Competition (Innovation, Research and Development Centres for Entrepreneurs) – an eco-system assisting young and female entrepreneurs to access low and high tech resources to take their innovations from ideation to market readiness to operational businesses. The Centres assists entrepreneurs from idea generation to commercialization.·       The GODISA Supplier Development Fund – a first of its kind partnership between a State-Owned Company (Transnet), a Development Funding Institution (SEFA) and a private company (Anglo-American) providing macro-financing to black owned SMMEs in Transnet’s supply chain in the engineering, manufacturing, rail and related services sectors thus ensuring the support and development of South Africa’s Black Industrialists.·       Transnet Shanduka Black Umbrellas Incubators-A Powerful Partnership that focuses on sourcing and developing 100 %BO business to take on opportunities in Transnet’s supply Chain. The incubators ensure that the Incubatees receive business support and thus access to markets in Transnet’s supply chain, thus ensuring Transnet develops sustainable businesses.One of her roles is to enable Transnet to deliver on aspirations of contributing to the national imperative of “leveraging on Transnet’s big procurement spend by procuring in such a way as to increase the capability and capacity of the local supply base”, thus growing South Africa’s local Content manufacturing and exports. Her role is also to drive consistent Enterprise and Supplier Development strategies and their implementation by Transnet’s Operating Divisions, in their MDS spend.She holds a B Com (Business Management, Statistics, Cost Accounting and Economics majors), B Com Honours (Business Management), Masters in Business Leadership with University of South Africa (School of Business Leadership) and a Management Development Programme (University of Stellenbosch). Mmadiboka has a wealth of experience in Supply Chain Management ranging from Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, B-BBEE, Transformation and development. She has also worked for other State Owned Companies such as Telkom, Transnet National Ports Authority, City Power and the SABC. Mmadiboka strongly believes that small businesses are the future of this country with the potential to create and preserve sustainable jobs in a country mired by poverty and unemployment.
