Early Life and Education
Mir Hasib Mahmud was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh. From a young age, he demonstrated a keen interest in communication, leadership, and strategic thinking. He pursued his undergraduate studies in Mass Communication and Journalism at Stamford University Bangladesh, where he developed a strong foundation in media and communication. Career in Media and Communication
Mir Hasib Mahmud began his professional journey in the media industry, working as an Assistant Producer at International Television Channel Ltd. (NTV) from 2014 to 2017. In this role, he assisted in planning and producing television programs, coordinating with directors, hosts, and crew, and managing scripts and schedules to ensure smooth on-air execution. His experience in media provided him with a strong understanding of public communication, content development, and audience engagement.
Transition into Corporate and Startup Ecosystem
After his tenure in media, he transitioned into the corporate sector, joining Sheba.xyz as an Assistant Manager (Internal Communication and Stakeholder Management) from 2018 to 2019. In 2020, he took on a leadership role as Vice President (Communication) at Best Aid Limited, a health-based social organization. In 2024, Mir Hasib Mahmud joined NKSoft Corporation USA as Vice President (Communication & Liaison), where he played a pivotal role in overseeing strategic project planning, execution, and stakeholder communication. As an authorized Project Director (PD), he ensured that all projects aligned with organizational goals and donor expectations. His expertise in donor relations and media communication positioned him as a key figure in international project management.
As part of his venture capital and investment journey, he became involved in NK Venture Capital (NKVC), contributing to investment initiatives and startup ecosystem development in Bangladesh. In January 2025, he assumed the position of Chief Business Officer (PR, Partnership & Investment) at GoYara Limited, an Online Travel Agency (OTA) platform in Bangladesh. In this role, he leads strategic partnership development, corporate communication, brand positioning, and business growth initiatives. He is responsible for engaging with key stakeholders, including government agencies and industry leaders, to drive GoYara’s expansion and market presence. His role involves managing media relations and coordinating public outreach efforts to strengthen the company's brand image.

Beyond his corporate roles, Mir Hasib Mahmud has established himself as a thought leader and influential speaker in business strategy, communication, and investment.
