Mohammad Reiza

reiza served as the youth desk program officer at the indonesian national commission for unesco, the ministry of education and culture from july-november 2017. he worked on youth program and unesco-indonesia activities. he participated in the regional conference on inclusive and rights-based education in the philippines. his last project was assisting bukit asam vocational high school in south sumatera to participate in conference of youth (coy)13 of cop23 in germany and sustainable development youth conference in denmark.

formerly, reiza served as the communication team leader of indonesia youth employment network (iyen) or jejakmu (jejaring lapangan kerja bagi kaum muda indonesia) program under the auspices of the indonesian ministry of national development planning (ppn)/bappenas for one year. he worked on youth employment issues in different cities and offered local government units to adopt the 5 pillars of jejakmu i.e. (1) youth employment policy, (2) skill development, (3) internship, (4) entrepreneurship and (5) knowledge sharing. additionally, he coordinated projects and rapid area appraisals with kompak—australian government partnership on tvet and industry relations under the skill development center (sdc) project in different provinces working with local government officials, schools and industries.

reiza served as cultural affairs assistant at the u.s. embassy in jakarta from 2009 to 2015. with the public affairs section, he worked on speaker and specialist programs, cultural events, special projects and grants in numerous cities in java, bali, sumatera, kalimantan and sulawesi. he received a meritorious honor award in recognition of his sustained and outstanding efforts to increase mutual understanding between the people of indonesia and the united states through cultural programs. he participated in the foreign service national educational and cultural programs in washington d.c. in 2013.
