Moises D. Santana Quintana

Moisés D. Santana is a consultant, mentor and entrepreneur, bringing more than 15 years of experience on international relations and social, political, economic issues in the MENA region to his work with private and public institutions. Drawing on experiences at different levels of government and in the private sector, Mr. Santana helps clients navigate emerging and developing economies and identify investment opportunities. At the present time, he is focused on global entrepreneurship, economic development and foreign policy. He is partner and co-founder of GTT Stratégies, a Spanish advisory and investment firm.
Mr. Santana has worked for Canary Venture Partners, a company specializing in early-stage entrepreneurs. Earlier, he successfully led a number of activities focused on the Middle East and North Africa with the participation and support of the United Nations, building a network of high-level experts that included diplomats, government officials and prestigious professors and scholars. He has also collaborated with Fundación Universitaria de Las Palmas and its office at San Antonio in Texas, United States. Prior to this he was a program analyst at Tecnocom.
He earned a Bsc. in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and has a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE Business School) in Madrid. Mr. Santana also completed a number of non-degree courses on economics at Johns Hopkins University. Currently he is writing his PhD thesis at Universitat de Barcelona (UB). His main research interests are at the intersection of entrepreneurship, globalization and technology, sustained and inclusive economic growth and diplomacy. He is passionate about young talented entrepreneurs and world politics.
