Krishna Moody

Krishna Laroche Moody is an immunologist with expertise spanning the breadth of early phase drug development. He has a Ph.D. in Immunology from Boston University, where he received an NIH Individual Fellowship and discovered novel antibodies that were licensed to commercial partners. He also has a M.S. in Microbiology from University of New Hampshire and a B.A. in Biology from Middlebury College.
He then joined Eli Lilly and Company as a postdoc and research scientist in the CMC/Bioassay department, where he managed a group of direct reports that tested samples for BLAs and INDs. In addition to his technical deliverables, Krishna is passionate about increasing the representation of underrepresented minorities in STEM.
In 2021, he became an advisor in Chorus, the early phase drug development division of Lilly. He led the execution and oversight of large molecule drug development at contract manufacturers. He also served as a clinical research consultant for a large molecule immunology asset, leading the clinical operation from vendor selection to FHD. At Chorus, he partners closely with small biotechs to lend his technical and operational expertise to driving their asset to transactable data.
In 2023, he became a senior advisor for Eli Lilly and Company, creating fit for purpose CMC development plans that align with partner resources and technical challenges. He also performed due diligence for large molecule CMC. He has extensive experience in laboratory techniques and data analysis, such as multicolor flow cytometry, cell-based potency assay development and qualification, and cloning and expression of T cell receptor genes. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals, such as Journal of Clinical Investigation, Journal of Immunology, and Journal of Biological Chemistry.
