The Station Co-Founder, Business development enthusiast. He founded his own company, ALAWJ
MEDIA, developed it to be one of the best in the country. He also co-founded many successful startups
in Iraq. Mujahed believes in starting your own business and not rely on a gov job that will get you
nowhere in the future.
Mujahid was always passionate about Event Management and Entrepreneurship since his early days he
enrolled in the college of engineering as most students do, he learned a lot of things but ultimately
discovered that it wasn't the right choice for him. So he switched over to the field of Filmmaking, Events,
and making startups. It is what he has always loved, and where he found himself. It is as he puts it: “My
past, present and future”.
His extensive work experience gave him great understanding and insight into communicating and
collaborating with people from different cultural backgrounds with various levels of experience and skills.
He also refined his own talents as a team player - working together with others towards a shared goal,
producing work of the very highest standards.
Mujahed started out making Short-films and Documentaries, such as: Tigris the immortal river, IRAQ in
MOTION, and A Cup of Tea and others. "Community causes" was his passion all the time, his concrete
blueprint in this field can tell this. Especially after a wide range and different community campaigns and
social events such as: Behance Baghdad, Bil Weekend, IT Live, Photo IN, the biggest community based
events in Iraq, and others.
Another genre in which he has a passion is entrepreneurship in Iraq. Mujahed trying as much as he can
to show how much Iraqi entrepreneurship ecosystem, infrastructure, and he is working on the biggest
project for entrepreneurship in Iraq called "The Station" the first Co-Working space in Baghdad, The
station is built to offer the physical space that entrepreneurs need to build their businesses, as well as
the entrepreneurial community and climate they need.
Achieving life objectives is too hard, it needs so much time, and a lot of passion. As a step to do it,
Mujahed founded his company, in a challenging era that Iraq facing and continuing work for all this
years, it’s huge. “ALAWJ MEDIA Productions” Mujahed’s Company now one of the leading companies in
whole of Iraq, and He co-founded many startups like: Bil Weekend, Iraq Casting, Shako Events.
