Martin Desmond Muhwezi

Martin is the Team Leader at Investors Club Ltd. As a company, we have served various corporate and public entity clients especially commercial banks and development countries in Uganda, East-Africa. We are currently supporting on a project with Johns Hopkins University, SEE Change in a ground breaking research project that will be able to link the importance of personal agency in business and entrepreneurship growth and development. This project has so far trained over 1,000 small and medium businesses across the country

I am also Certified Straight Forward Financial Growth Coach (SFFG) and a Certified Personal Financial Literacy Trainer with the Central Bank of Uganda. I am Investment Clubs Consultant, with a passion to transform our economy by empowering Savings Groups to mobilise local savings for local investment opportunities. I strongly believe that no economy can achieve sustainable growth and development unless it taps into its own local resources hence positioning Savings Groups as an ideal economic unit to develop our economy.

I serve as a Board member of Cure Hospital, a world class comprehensive care children’s hospital based in Mbale, Uganda and headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. I also serves as a Board Member, Company Secretary and General Manager at International Development Consultants; a COMESA wide management consultancy firm based in Kampala, Uganda and a Board Member at BLN (Business Leaders Network), a Business Network at Worship Harvest Ministries, Uganda.
I am married to one wife and together we have three biological children. I also serve at my local church as a Zonal Pastor (Worship Harvest Kungu) and an Elder at Worship Harvest Ministries.
