Nomagugu Mvelase

Miss Nomagugu Nokukhanya Mvelase is a founder and director of Lizwile Engineering Pty Ltd. She holds a B Tech Degree in Quantity Surveying from the Durban University of Technology , a Management Programe from Wits Business School, a certificate in entrepreneurship from GIBS and a Certificate in Energy . Nomagugu is qualified and skilled in the field of quantity surveying and construction management. She is professionally registered with the Royal Institute of Surveyors of Surveyors (MRICS) and is a candidate in South African Council of Quantity Surveyor Professional (SACQSP). Her key experiences include, cost estimates, compiling of bills of quantities (BOQ), management of contracts (NEC Supply Contracts, Short Term Contracts, Construction Contracts, FIDIC and JBCC), property development and project budgeting. Nomagugu career comprises of a variety of projects from private property and government structures such as power utilities, water boards, home buildings and hotels. Nomagugu experiences stems from a few entities that she has worked for such as National Home Builders Regulation Council (NHBRC), Grinaker-Lta, Grootvlei Power Station, Medupi Power Station, Matla Power Station, and Duvha Power Station.

In 2019, Ms Mvelase had discovered a niche market in steel fabrications, repairs and maintenance, quality valves and pipes supply as per client’s requirements in various mines, power stations and other entities around Witbank, Middelburg, Lephalale and Steelport. She then conducted research, which led to the formation of Lizwile Engineering (Pty) Ltd. The entity also sells valves and also repair them which are the components that control the fluid flow on the pipelines and also helps manage the flow on the pipeline from reservoir
