Hannah Siliya

Hannah is a Social Entrepreneur, and education activist. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Marketing and Retail Management from Heriot Watt University, and is currently pursuing an MsC in Accounting and Finance at the University of Lusaka. Her Notable achievements include being the youngest Founder of a Business School for Creatives in Southern Africa, which was awarded The best Youth Start up in Lusaka (2023) by the Ministry of SMEs Zambia and the Embassy of Finland to Zambia. Hannah is recipient of the 2023 Growth Africa Fund, and is recognised as a 2022 Woman in Technology by Standard Chartered Bank (2022). Hannah’s work is focused on the reform of the study and teaching of fashion and creative arts in the global south. Her Academic platform has trained more than 100 young Africans in Digital futures, conceptual thinking, and business development. Hannah’s contribution to the orange economy and access to quality education has since been highlighted by the African Philanthropy Network, Zambia Daily Mail and BBC Radio.
