Nahel Muhammad Amirah

Eng. Nahel Muhammad Amirah is the Innovation Support Manager at Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), that includes managing many programs like: InnovEgypt and Egypt Ideation Camp program. He has more than 15 years of experience in multiple areas include Control Engineering, Project Management, Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship and Implementing Technologies for Education. He received B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computers in 2000. He started his career as a teaching assistant at Biomedical Engineering Department, Higher Technological Institute. Then he had a career shift to the world of entrepreneurship. Nahel joined Arab Science and Technology Foundation Cairo then Science Age foundation (SAS) as a project manager. During this period, he managed many entrepreneurship and startup competitions and programs. He also developed and managed a new competition for Entrepreneurs in industrial sector, Industrial startup @ Arab World competition. It was the first of its kind worldwide and was recognized as a featured event of Global Entrepreneurship Week in 2009. He operated and managed the Intel Science and Engineering Fair in Egypt for three years and he developed the first pan Arab version of this competition. Nahel is the co-founder of IEEE YP and Egyptian Engineering Day and a winner of IEEE Larry K. Wilson Award and IEEE Third Millennium Medal. He is an active member of IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society and the vice chair of its chapter in Egypt. He is also a certified educator for Intel Ideation Camp and volunteering as mentor and judge for many entrepreneurship initiatives and activities in Egypt and Arab World.
