i have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in management and business administration from the university of macedonia in 2009. respect, teamwork, work task hierarchies and particularly under -crisis situations helped me to start my professional career with a dynamic university internship in eurobank efg stock market.
since 2012, i started checking the procedures needed for exporting greek products in third countries. my main concern was the research and finding of the relevant quality product, the design of private label and brand name, the corresponding packaging and promotion of the final product in asian countries. my acquaintance with a company based in singapore and their interest to import, promote and advertise the products in countries such as malaysia, china, australia, uae, etc., led me to start my own business in june, 2014. collaboratively, we aimed at a high quality product with a dynamic special packaging, so to introduce something original and innovative for the asian standards but also for the common greek exports. the funding of my business was coming solely from the company in singapore. our business was growing, the brand name had started to acquire fame, entering in magazines, newspapers, television shows and social networks. finally, i sold the brand name "hellenic gaia" to the singaporean company and closed down my company in 2021. i have worked in different industries, like fmcg, bpo, construction as a business development & brand manager. currently, i am working for an austrian recruitment agency in the same field.
i have always been fascinated by the fact that the global scientific community has set eyes on inhabiting the moon in order to create a base that would lead us to another planets or planetary systems. to my perspective, it is a whole new professional sector that lies ahead, with numerous new job opportunities popping up in the following years. i might not have studied astrophysics or engineering in order to work on that sector, however, i would love the idea of combining my two great loves that is working in the business development sector in combination with the space domain. i am setting the bar higher and am aiming towards achieving it through participating to gen organization.
