Natasha Kelly

tash kelly is a recent graduate of the university of canberra with a bachelor in media and communications, specialising in marketing. during her time at university, she was lucky to advance her marketing skills by doing two separate internships. one with the university of canberra’s marketing team, and the other with a small start up called miiroko, who were creating an at home hair colour subscription service and product.
through both of these opportunities she was able to see marketing from a start up company with only 4 employees to a large scale one with over 20 just in the marketing department.

now she is works as a marketing and communications officer at the canberra innovation network (cbrin). cbrin is a not-for-profit that supports startups and entrepreneurs with events, funding, mentorship, coworking and other programs. at cbirn, because the marketing team is so small (consisting of only 3), she is able to deal with all parts of marketing including communication, design, strategy, media and pr, content creation and copywriting.

while she has only just started her marketing career, she is eager to learn as much as possible and implement what she has learnt at uni into her day to day work schedule.

when she is not working at cbrin, she is running her own pet sitting business which has helped her gain valuable lessons on business management.
