Nicolas Rouhana

Dr. Nicolas Rouhana is the Chairman and CEO of IM Fndng, a Venture Capital group with $60M under management funded under USAID MENA Investment Initiative & Lebanon Investment Initiative, providing Matching Capital, Equity Guarantee and Technical Assistance to businesses and investors in Lebanon. The fund co-created since 2015 the first Seed accelerator “SpEED” in Lebanon that graduated more than 35 startups, created and managed 5 business angel groups with more than 135 angel investors, trained more than 65 mentors, invested in more than 55 startups, and created and maintained more than 800 jobs.

Nicolas has been supporting the Lebanese startup ecosystem in Lebanon since 2001 as the Executive Director of Berytech - the leading Technology Business Innovation & Incubation Center in Lebanon, and currently serves as Board Member since 2015.

Nicolas is also a Board Member of EBAN (the European Business Angel Network), and a lecturer on entrepreneurship at Saint-Joseph University of Beirut.

Nicolas has a Telecommunications Engineering degree from Saint-Joseph University in Beirut, a PhD in Networking Systems from Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, and an EDP graduate from INSEAD, France.
