Nicole Orillac M

Nicole's professional career has focused on promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and social impact. From IDB Lab she currently contributes to the mission of fostering Innovation for Inclusion in Latin America and the Caribbean with emphasis on Panama and Central America.

She previously led technology projects to improve educational quality in the public sector in 13 countries in the region from the role of Regional Manager of Corporate Citizenship for Samsung Electronics in Central America and the Caribbean.

She was also part of the Panama Business Accelerator team of the City of Knowledge Foundation as a consultant for the "SEED Project to Support Dynamic Entrepreneurship" with funds from the IDB-MIF and in the design and implementation of programs to promote entrepreneurship. innovative in Panama.

In the international arena, her experiences include being Program Director at Global Citizen Year – an NGO developing an immersive model for training young leaders working at the forefront of global challenges; she and Acumen Fellow in India with AyurVAID – a startup dedicated to the safe, effective, and affordable delivery of health services to low-income communities in India.

Nicole earned an MBA and Master of Development Management from HEC, Paris and LSE, London, and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
