Nivashnee Naidoo

Nivashnee currently works as an Independent Tourism & Hospitality Consultant and is the Founder and CEO of The Collaborative Leadership Group (CLG). CLG is a dynamic company that focuses on assisting all our clients achieve operational optimisation through a range of core and supporting services. Our clients range from small and medium sized businesses to large corporates both in the private and public sectors. The services we offer our clients has the primary aim of contributing to entrepreneurship development and job creation, etc. Some of these are (and not limited to)  Quality Assurance improvement programmes, Tourism Sustainability Development interventions, Social Media Management, Marketing Representation, Recruitment, Project Management,  Training and Capacity Building and Supply Chain linkage opportunities to large businesses supply chain.She has over 17 years of professional experience in tourism development, which spans from business consulting, position of Operations Manager of the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa, a business unit of South African Tourism. She has worked in and has relevant experience in the private and public sector arenas as well as the non-governmental (NGO) sector. This allows her to be well versed in a diverse scope of Tourism & Hospitality issues.  Through her illustrious role as project manager of a number of independent assignments, Nivashnee has also contributed to and had considerable impact in relation to risk management, change management, leadership development, cross-functional team leadership, mentoring, career counsellor to students, and mentor to women entrepreneurs, policy development and talent acquisition. She holds an Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology and is an accredited assessor with the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa, playing an integral role in advising on quality assurance and certification processes.
