Nomasonto Moncho

I represent the company called The Teens Nest of Technology SA which is a 100% black woman owned and was formally registered on the 22 March 2011. TNOTSA aims to create a global socio-economic growth that empowers 60% of the population mainly disadvantaged children who can barely afford basic resources and education to sustain themselves or skill themselves due to lack of support and financial assistance. Therefore, TNOTSA is providing Financial Social Security Systems not state owned but a foundation that can manage and facilitate their educational and social needs until they graduate.  Our main objective is to create a global family that will equip teenagers and youth to go further in life and are able to sustain themselves financially and socially breaking the cycle of poverty in communities. The name TNOTSA was founded based on a scenario of birds building a nest, A male bird which was hunting and selecting available natural resources in his environment to develop a nest while passing those resources over to a female bird which was hanging over the tree for the stitching of the nest with love using her beak to provide a safe, hidden shelter for the chicks.  Furthermore, the nest is for protection from the cold and predators and harsh conditions for the chicks until they can be equipped for the outside world. Nomasonto decided to imitate these birds and incorporate it with her family values and life background in a disadvantage community and through her parents teachings which came in handy during her educational setbacks as a teenager which affected her tertiary life as a student intensify the need and her current career as a banker which demonstrates the feasibility of her business while targeting financial institute as primary customers, the three life experience have motivate me to create one place to will use the vision of Ubuntu and community so that everyone can use TNOTSA as a platform to provide a safe and creative environment, create confidence and empower young South Africans.
