Oscar Jiménez P. E.

Mr. Jiménez was born in Aguadilla Ramey Military Base Puerto Rico while his father was serving in the USA Army. Moved to San Juan and graduated from J. J. Osuna public system school. Entered in the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus at age 15 and completed a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering in 1973. Since then, worked in high technology and medical devices manufacturing industries in Puerto Rico and California, for 29 years. During those years held the following positions while increasing scope of responsibility: Industrial Engineer supervisor, MIS Manager, Operations Manager, Sales and Marketing Representative in the Caribbean Region, Plant Manager and Divisional Information Technology Director.

In a significant career change in 2003 was named Executive President for a nonprofit, regional economic development organization (INTECO) thru the promotion and commercialization of new technologies and innovative products, reporting to a Board of Directors including Mayor of 12 towns, University Presidents and Chief Executives Officers from private Corporations. Most significant accomplishments include the establishment and operation for 15 years of Business Incubator for emerging enterprises that is financially self-sustainable, the construction and operation of a Science and Technology Regional School (STEM) that has graduated over 450 high school students from all 12 municipalities in the region since 2014, Received over $22 million in US Government Grants to provide funds to implement various infrastructure and economic development projects in the region.

Oscar lives in Guaynabo, PR and is married to his beloved wife Carmen since 1976. Has one daughter Viviana, a Lawyer living n the USA and Jose a Chemical Engineer living in Holland, and five grandchildren.
