Rofiat Olaleye

Olaleye Rofiat is an Environmentalist, She Earned National Diploma in Environmental health
technician from college of health Technology Ijebu -ilese, Ogun state,Nigeria, 2O14.
She holds a bachelors degree in Health Education from Lagos state University in 2020.
She's a certified waste manager from Lagos Business school
She also holds a certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from EDC Lagos, Nigeria.
In her quest to creating more impact, she realized many people in her community dumped
plastic wastes by the road side which majorly causes blockage to drainage while some people
even burn them thereby depleting the ozone layer which is hazardous to environment thus
prompted her to create an innovative solution by starting pl ECO HEROES, A waste recycling and social benefit venture.
She is the 2nd winner of Youth Entrepreneurship dialogue pitching competition 2019.(Oxfam
international)
She won the Arya Nigeria 2021 IWD contest
She is one of the winners of international breweries foundation grant 2021.
She recently emerged as one of the winners of Lasric innovation challenge 2022.
She is one of the Top 10 finalists of the creative businesscup Nigeria 2022.
One of the grant winners of Flourish Africa 2023.
4th winners of Lagos State ministery of sports and youth development IWD contest 2023.
Rofiat enjoys volunteering in entrepreneurship activities both here in Nigeria and abroad.
Her aspirations are diverse, but her utmost goal is to uphold and preserve our environment but
also impact the knowledge of plastic waste recycling into youths and women through
entrepreneurial skill acquisition programs in Nigeria and beyond.
