Olawande Olowoyeye

Olawande brings a strong pedigree in organizational leadership, strategic & innovative thinking, execution & process discipline, and collaboration across diverse teams and is an exceptional people’s manager. His career experience spans over 15 years working across various functions from construction, and events management to business development, strategy and sales operations of highly rated real estate and construction companies, and event products.
Olawande, a passionate and energetic graduate of Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Master of Urban and Regional Planning, University of Lagos, has boosted his zeal for Urban Management and to thrive in any real estate organization and fit right into any assigned role. He went on to attend SEGi University, Malaysia where he obtained his MBA (Global Business) which Conceptualized his passion for promoting the Asia-Africa Bilateral Trade relationship. He has also attended soft skills certificate courses in problem-solving, time management, leadership & management, business etiquette, interpersonal skills and communication skills. Olawande believes in the fundamental importance of trust, openness, professionalism and pride in what he does with integrity, teamwork and excellence. Olawande is currently a PhD candidate with a focus on Corporate ESG and Global Business.
Olawande is the Founder of Spero Educational Foundation, a teenage creative mind hub that enlightens, empowers and nurtures self-value in teenagers through access to career talks and creative workshops that help them establish self-value and develop marketable and entrepreneurial skills.
Spero Nigeria helps prepare teenagers to become creative decision-makers, independent entrepreneurs and business leaders who will be self-sufficient and potential employers of labour through career talks, workshops on vocational skills acquisition, and enhancement the creative and artistic skills through competitions.
Olawande currently works with IBR Asia Group, Malaysia as the Business Development Manager (Africa). International Business Review is a business publication that is in controlled circulation to 30,000 top corporate, government, and diplomatic decision-makers in Malaysia.
Olawande is currently the Member of Asia Africa Chamber of Commerce where he promotes bilateral trade between Asia and Africa through trade, investments, tourism, and industrialization.
Olawande is the Secretary-General, of Oodua Progressive Union, Malaysia.
