Omar Vega
Omar has more than 20 years of experience in the software industry. He is Co-Founder of Vates S.A., a software development company with a business volume reaching 30 million (Argentine) pesos. He is currently performing functions as Director of the firm; through this role, he provides strategic support to the areas of trade and production, towards both internal and external markets, aligned with the corporate mission and vision. Omar is fundamentally experienced in the telecommunications industry, with knowledge developed by more than 10 years of involvement in projects such as being a provider for Claro (América Móvil). Such projects encompass different areas, including Provisioning, CRM, interfaces with telephony switches, messaging services, mediators, quoting, and billing. After an internship at UNISYS lasting almost two years, he decided to work independently, performing as a fundamental piece in the birth of a company. Omar is a Systems Engineer, graduated from National Technological University (Universidad Tecnológica Nacional), Regional School of Córdoba, and he additionally has an active involvement as a professor in several activities.
