Oscar Moralez is the founder and managing partner of Boomerang Ventures, a health tech studio and venture capital fund based in Indianapolis, Indiana. A seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for innovation, Oscar has dedicated their career to building and supporting transformative companies in the healthcare space.

In the early 2000s, Oscar founded BioStorage Technologies, a pioneering tech-enabled services company in biospecimen management, which they successfully grew and sold. Recognizing the challenges entrepreneurs face in the Midwest, particularly in accessing capital and resources, Oscar launched VisionTech Angels in 2009 to foster a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. In 2020, he founded Boomerang Ventures to further his mission of identifying and investing in disruptive health tech startups that have the potential to reshape healthcare delivery.

Under Oscar's leadership, Boomerang Ventures focuses on early-stage investments, partnering with passionate founders tackling significant problems in large markets. Known for his hands-on approach and extensive experience as an entrepreneur and operator, Oscar brings a founder’s perspective to supporting portfolio companies.
