Sonia Osoro

My name is Sonia Osoro, and I am a passionate medical doctor, entrepreneur, and travel consultant dedicated to creating meaningful and transformative experiences. My journey into medicine began with a deeply personal story—my mother’s pregnancy challenges and the pain of losing children inspired my compassion for women and children. I studied medicine in Ukraine and now work at the General Hospital in Ekpan, Delta State, Nigeria. My career has also included serving as a contract doctor for the Nigerian Air Force Presidential Hospital in Abuja, where I assist in patient care, surgeries, and even collaborate with veterinary doctors in the K9 unit.

Beyond medicine, I am the founder of Sand and Sneakers, a travel company I established in Lagos in 2023. My vision for Sand and Sneakers is to create unforgettable travel experiences by curating unique destinations, offering visa and immigration services, and designing detailed itineraries for both local and international adventures. I’m passionate about building a vibrant travel community through engaging social media content and SEO-optimized blogs that inspire people to explore the world.
