I am an International Medical Graduate with over 20 years of experience in patient care, specializing in family medicine and public health. I use data analysis and research to create policies that help prevent, diagnose, and treat health conditions. I have worked in both government and private healthcare, which helped me understand how healthcare systems and research work.
I have led over 20 research studies and reviewed 15,000+ data points, making real improvements in public health.
I am proficient in Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, Statistical Analysis System, and Electronic Medical Records systems and I have facilitated strategies that help improve health outcomes. My work has spanned clinical trials, cohort studies, and data-driven initiatives, always focusing on improving healthcare systems and patient outcomes.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I had the opportunity to contribute to government policy development, which reduced the spread of the virus in my region. The success of this initiative earned me a promotion to a senior leadership role.
Since relocating to Canada in late 2022, I have been focusing on my role as a clinical research professional, applying my extensive background in medical research, public health, and clinical practice to contribute to healthcare improvements in my new environment.
