tl:dr I work at the intersection of community development and ecosystem building, creating meaningful opportunities to do good stuff together. Through re-booting my teaching and learning facilitation skills to walk the learn-by-doing talk, I fell in a magic potion: entrepreneurship. More specifically, I have focused on creating conditions conducive to entrepreneurial capability building. This is underpinned by co-founding two major projects: Basestation co-working space and VentureCentre, an entrepreneurship support organisation for impact founders. Those two ventures have led me to work closely with and across communities regionally and beyond, and with many inspiring founders exploring how new ideas, technologies and business models can address the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. It has also led me to uncover my passion for building ecosystems by: - adapting, growing and practising a systems thinking approach to community building - exploring entrepreneurship as a tool for community development i am currently intent on growing a culture of collaboration to foster the critical connections that support the activation of entrepreneurial communities for the benefit of and with youth aged 16-24.  I am leading the establishment of the Stand Tall Community Trust. It is created to unlock the entrepreneurial and digital potential of youth both in and out of formal education settings. It exists to remove barriers and increase access to innovation, thus growing a resilient, self-actualised talent pipeline ready to participate actively, and in their own terms, and build the future they want to see.
