With over eight years of experience as a producer, writer, filmmaker, and creative visionary, I have been privileged to shape impactful stories across various media platforms. Currently, as the Lead Producer for commercial videos at Pulse Nigeria, I focus on bringing powerful narratives to life—captivating audiences and driving brand engagement through innovative, dynamic content.

In early 2024, I took a bold step by founding Sweetland Events and Production, a registered business in Nigeria specializing in production and event management. Sweetland quickly gained a reputation for delivering creative solutions and executing projects with excellence. From large-scale events to high-quality film productions, I’ve worked to ensure that every project leaves a lasting impression while maintaining seamless execution.

Beyond my professional roles, I am deeply passionate about representation in media, especially in telling women-centered narratives. I believe stories have the power to influence mindsets and drive change, and this belief drives my work. With strong project management skills and a commitment to impactful storytelling, I’ve had the opportunity to establish meaningful connections with key stakeholders, enabling me to contribute to the growth and evolution of the creative sector.

Most recently, I released my first novel, Adesuwa. This book is incredibly close to my heart as it explores the complex dynamics of societal expectations, family pressures, and the quest for personal fulfillment. Adesuwa tells the story of a young woman who, after completing her master’s program abroad, returns to Nigeria with dreams of building her career and forging her own path. However, she quickly finds herself caught in the web of her family’s expectations—especially those of her mother, who insists that marriage should be her top priority.

Through Adesuwa, I delve into themes of cultural identity, gender roles, and generational divides, creating a narrative that is both deeply personal and universally relatable. It’s a story about courage, self-discovery, and the strength it takes to stand firm in one’s convictions while navigating societal norms.

Writing this book was a fulfilling yet challenging experience, as it allowed me to channel my passion for storytelling into a medium that resonates with readers on an intimate level. With Adesuwa, I hope to inspire others to reflect on their journeys, embrace their individuality, and boldly challenge the limitations society may place on them.

This milestone marks just the beginning of my journey as an author, and I am excited to continue exploring new avenues to tell stories that matter
