Priscilla Abhilakh Missier

Priscilla Abhilakh Missier is an accomplished professional and community leader with a Master’s degree in Business Management from the Anton de Kom University of Suriname (2020). Her expertise lies in project management, with a notable background in the Procurement Services Industry.

In 2018, Priscilla co-founded Act Now Foundation, a local NGO dedicated to designing and implementing inclusive community development programs. As a proactive citizen, she empowers young people to create lasting positive change in their community. Through Act Now Foundation, Priscilla and her team coordinate projects aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and GEN Suriname.

Passionate about entrepreneurship and women's empowerment, Priscilla champions these causes through awareness campaigns and panel discussions at national and international conferences. Her commitment to social impact was underscored during the COVID-19 pandemic when she led "Surinamers voor Surinamers," providing food relief to over 300 vulnerable families.

In 2021, Priscilla secured an international AEIF grant for a program combating domestic violence in Suriname. Beyond her professional pursuits, Priscilla enjoys nature, documentaries, and exploring diverse cultures through travel. Her aspirations encompass continued advocacy for inclusive community development and elevating women's roles in business and society.
