Rachael N. Collymore

Rachael N. Collymore is a WIPO-certified IP trainer and consultant, publicist and creative strategist with over 15 years of experience in the Creative Industries and MSME sectors. As the founder and managing director of Power Media Hub, Rachael has led innovative projects in public relations, marketing strategy and intellectual property (IP) advocacy. As a trainer, Rachael works to raise awareness of IP rights and implement sustainable frameworks within the creative economy with a keen interest in emerging technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence.
She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and certifications in various areas of intellectual property law, public relations, event management and social media marketing – solidifying her as a strategic leader in creative business development.
Rachael has collaborated with the Intellectual Property Office of Trinidad and Tobago to deliver training workshops like the Copyright and Related Rights Workshop for the music sector and is a trainer with the National Intellectual Property Trainers’ Centre (NIPTC) under IPO. Her thought leadership has been showcased at forums including the O2N Style 2 Creative Economy panel.
Her commitment to social impact is evident in her founding of the Poetic Vibes Arts Foundation, which supports youth development and social change through the arts. She has represented Trinidad and Tobago at international events such as the Griot Summit in Toronto and spearheaded programmes like Young Artists for Change and the Artisans for Change TT Festival, aligning with the global 100 Thousand Poets for Change movement.
As a mentor with the Youth Business of Trinidad and Tobago (YBTT), Rachael helps cultivate emerging talent in entrepreneurship and the arts. She is also a published poet with work featured in anthologies like World of Change, She Sex and 360 Degrees. Her writing and commentary on women in business and the creative industries have appeared in Arc Magazine and CPC Women in Business.
Currently, Rachael serves as Board Secretary and former Vice President of the Circle of Poets of Trinidad and Tobago, where she played a pivotal role in launching the Poet Laureate of Trinidad and Tobago Programme. As an Island Innovation Ambassador, she champions sustainable island development through creative strategies with a vision to empower artists as agents of social and economic transformation.
