Rachid Molinary

Rachid Molinary is a distinguished leader in digital transformation. As Chief Information Officer at MMM Healthcare, a subsidiary of Elevance Health, since 2021, Rachid has driven the company’s digital strategies. He oversees a robust IT infrastructure, manages a dedicated team, ensures data security, and fosters beneficial vendor relationships. His primary goal is transforming MMM into a premier digital health platform, enhancing connectivity among members, providers, and employees to improve digital healthcare experiences.
Previously, Rachid served as the Head of Channel Experience & Innovation at Banco Popular from 2020 to 2021. He led the integration across various channels, including ATMs, mobile and online banking, branches, and call centers. His leadership in omnichannel transformation enhanced customer interactions, increased revenue, and boosted operational productivity, positioning Popular as a leader in customer-centric banking.
From 2015 to 2020, as Senior Vice President of Digital Strategy & Innovation at Banco Popular, Rachid developed “Mi Banco,” Puerto Rico’s leading online and mobile banking platform with over one million users. Recognized as the Best Consumer Digital Bank in Puerto Rico and Latin America, he also directed strategies for Popular.com and a 640+ ATM network, spearheaded innovation initiatives, and transformed eloan.com into a comprehensive online lending platform. Key achievements include a PPP loan system managing over $1.5B in loans and facilitating $13.4B in payments and transfers via “Mi Banco.”
As Vice President of Digital Strategy from 2011 to 2015, Rachid launched Banco Popular’s first mobile apps, developed a new revenue stream through “Mi Banco Comercial,” and introduced custom Personal Financial Tools.
At Evertec, Inc. from 2008 to 2011, Rachid served as Vice President of Web Design & Development, Digital Commerce & Payments Solutions. He crafted a comprehensive digital payments strategy, launched real-time P2P payments (ATH Móvil), and modernized the payment gateway with “IVU Loto” integration. As Vice President of Technology Research from 2004 to 2008, he transformed Ticketpop into Puerto Rico’s leading digital ticketing processor.
Rachid’s executive journey began as Vice President and Design Director at Banco Popular from 2003 to 2004, where he identified and implemented emerging internet-focused technologies. Before that, he founded Mediawire Communications, Inc. in 1996, which became Puerto Rico’s premier digital consulting firm and was acquired by Popular, Inc. in 2003.
