Reka Oszlanczi

I am Réka Oszlánczi, 41 years old entrepreneur from Miskolc, Hungary EU.
The roots of my entrepreneurial career began in my childhood, as my parents gave me an insight into the entrepreneurial way of life from the age of 8. I was present in the daily operation of their businesses: they ran many kind of restaurants and catering businesses.
The biggest breakthrough in my life came in 2006, when my family and I embarked on a brand new gastronomic line: we started to innovate the high quality presentation of crepe catering. We started all of this in the period before the economic crisis, so not only did we face pitfalls with the introduction of new themed catering, but the economic downturn also presented us with pitfalls. After surviving this critical period, our dishes became more and more popular, and today I can say that the Creppy Crepe House restaurant has been awarded the title of the best restaurant in Miskolc and of the region as well, by the guest votes on several portals and awards as well.
The profile of my company, present crepe gastronomy at a fancy level. Where did the idea come from? Who doesn't like crepes? So we have a very broad target audience, and in addition, crepes are a kind of pasta, a side dish that not only goes well as a dessert, but also goes well with savory dishes, meats.
Inspired by this, we have now created nearly 300 exotic crepe dishes. However, in our restaurant we serve crepe strips in chicken soup, or beef stew with and vegetables crepe rolls with sheep's cheese and bacon fillings. The very big favourite is our Rakavan fried crepe, which is wrapped in a crepe with mustard chicken breast and fried bacon and smokey cheese, breaded in sesame seed, then scooped out and served with mixed pickles. Our dessert line is also based on specialities: for example, our Aloha pancake is a big favourite, which has a cocoa batter, making it a little darker than the well-known pancake. We spread it with Nutella cream, fill it with pineapple and banana chunks, then top it with vanilla custard and top it with whipped cream.
Thanks to its success, we have received many requests to franchise this thematic line of catering. Inspired by this, we would like to help other young people who want to start their own Creppy restaurant business to start up easily and run it profitably. That's why I created the Creppy Brand, which stands for crepe gastronomy. We are building a nationwide network of franchised crepe restaurants through the creation of the Creppy Franchise System. In 2019, we won the title of the IFA the best 12 Nextgen Franchise.
