Ricardo Jorge

I'm a seasoned business administrator, EdTech entrepreneur, and founder of Drill English School, a fast-growing, multi-platform ESL venture based in São Paulo, Brazil. With over 20 years of experience in education and business strategy, I have built an innovative phygital (physical + digital) language learning model that has served over 4,100 students, including executives from global brands such as Apple, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, and GE.

After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mackenzie University, I began my career in corporate English instruction, quickly evolving into strategic leadership roles. In 2017, I launched Drill English School with a mission to deliver high-impact, personalized, and scalable English instruction for professionals and corporations. I led the creation of Drill’s proprietary learning platform, integrated cutting-edge technologies such as speech recognition and adaptive learning, and designed a data-driven client acquisition strategy that propelled 5x revenue growth.

Prior to founding Drill, I worked as an independent consultant for education companies and EdTech startups, supporting digital transformation, market strategy, and curriculum development. His work helped several ventures optimize operations, scale offerings, and align services with evolving workforce demands.

Recognized with multiple awards for business innovation and educational impact, I combine my passion for entrepreneurship with deep expertise in strategy, operations, and instructional design. He is affiliated with professional organizations such as CRA-SP, Endeavor Brasil, SEBRAE, and TESOL International, and remains committed to educational equity through volunteer teaching and community service in underserved communities across São Paulo.

Fluent in both English and Portuguese and conversational in Spanish, I thrive in cross-cultural environments. When he’s not building business strategies or mentoring teams, he enjoys reading, traveling, public speaking, and following his favorite sports teams.
