Roberto Clímaco

Roberto Clímaco is a full time clean-tech founder with more than 20 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.

Roberto holds a business bachelor’s degree from Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado in El Salvador, where he was born and raised.

Roberto leaded supply chain management and warehouse administration for one of the largest restaurant chain operations in Central America, where he became aware of the potential for recycling and efficient waste management in manufacturing and local industries.

Hence, in 2022, Roberto drafted the idea of an efficient recycling network and marketplace, where all residual materials could be collected and treated, providing better income for participants, as well as a measurable social and ecological impact.

In 2023, Robert quit his day job to pursue this venture, allying himself with seasoned serial entrepreneurs in order to launch in a matter of weeks a first version of Recirculapp. Six months later, Recirculapp already has collected over 60 tons of recyclable materials in El Salvador, and started to plan its growth and expansion into other markets.

Roberto is married and father to a boy and a girl who are in their last years of highschool.
