Roberto Geno Volpe
Roberto Volpe (Rome, 1993) has been working with the DG for Industrial Policy of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development since 2016. He is part of the team responsible for monitoring and implementing the "Italian Startup Act", Italy’s strategy to support innovative startups and SMEs. He co-authored two editions of the Annual Report on the Italian Startup Act (2016, 2017) and the special issue "Startup Survey 2016" (with National Institute for Statistics, 2018). His tasks also include monitoring the administrative process of the Italia Startup Visa programme, Italy’s special visa for tech entrepreneurs coming from anywhere in the world.
