Managing my mother’s small business not only sparked my interest in entrepreneurship but also instilled in me a sense of responsibility. My promise to her was to expand the business and transition it into the digital realm, but I recognized that achieving this vision required a formal education.

My name is Veronica Robin a graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management. Coming from a low-income family in Africa, my journey has been fraught with challenges, yet each obstacle has only deepened my resolve to pursue my dreams, understanding the value of education and the impact it will have in my future.
During my studies, I faced significant challenges, including my mother’s illness and eventual passing. Despite these hardships, I persevered, knowing that I was building a foundation for my future—a future that honors her legacy.

My academic achievements, combined with my professional experience as an administrative assistant in a retail industry for over Eight (8) years and Managing my small business inspired by my Mother_AFFY SEAFOODS STUFF has further developed my organizational skills and attention to details, qualities that are crucial in business management.

I am particularly drawn to the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) for its innovative curriculum and emphasis on real-world applications. I expect this program to provide me with advanced knowledge in operations, and strategic planning, equipping me with the skills necessary to optimize business processes.

Furthermore, I look forward to collaborating with the esteemed Management Team of Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) and diverse peers, whose insights will enrich my learning experience. This program will serve as a stepping stone, enabling me to return to my community with the expertise needed to manage a thriving business that creates jobs and empowers others.
