SM Shozibul Islam, widely known as Shojib Rumman, is a dynamic and multidisciplinary professional from Bangladesh, recognized for his contributions to youth leadership, public policy, media, and sustainable development. Born on November 7, 1993, in Khulna, Bangladesh, he grew up in a culturally enriched environment that nurtured his passion for creativity, leadership, and community engagement from an early age. His involvement in theater, music, and cultural festivals during his formative years played a significant role in shaping his identity as both a creative and socially conscious individual.

Shozibul completed his early education at St. Xavier’s High School, where he demonstrated strong academic performance alongside active participation in extracurricular activities. He pursued higher education in commerce at Ahsanullah College and later earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Azam Khan Government Commerce College. Expanding his academic scope, he continued his studies at Govt. B.L. University College and the University of Development Alternative, where he developed a deeper understanding of international relations, governance, and cultural management.

Professionally, Shozibul serves as an assistant director at the International Islamic University Chittagong, where he contributes to administrative leadership, institutional development, and international collaboration. His role involves coordinating academic initiatives, strengthening organizational capacity, and fostering global partnerships. Prior to this, he gained valuable experience as a marketing manager in Kuala Lumpur, where he developed strategic communication and business development skills in a multicultural environment. He also served as Assistant Private Secretary to the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports in Bangladesh, where he was directly involved in policy processes, governance, and youth-focused national initiatives.

Shozibul’s leadership extends beyond formal roles into active engagement with national and international organizations. He serves as a peace ambassador for Global Peace Chain, an ambassador for the International School of Leadership and Diplomacy, and a human rights ambassador for Voice for Rights International. In addition, he is the Development Director of “Gourab – In Honor of the Nation,” where he contributes to promoting Bangladesh’s cultural heritage and national identity. Through these roles, he has actively participated in global youth forums, leadership programs, and intercultural dialogues, advocating for peace, inclusion, and sustainable development.

His contributions have been recognized through several achievements, including the Chairperson Award in 2024 as the Best Educational Non-Profit Business Leader in Chittagong. He possesses strong competencies in strategic planning, policy analysis, leadership development, stakeholder engagement, and cross-cultural communication. His work consistently focuses on empowering youth, fostering inclusive participation, and connecting local initiatives with global development agendas.

Beyond his professional and policy engagements, Shozibul is an accomplished musician and cultural performer. His original songs have been released through Dhruba Music, and he has received multiple national awards, including four gold medals in music and acting. As a former lead vocalist at the National Cultural Center, he has used artistic expression as a powerful tool for awareness, storytelling, and social impact.

Shozibul’s research and professional interests include youth policy and participation, sustainable development, cultural heritage preservation, ecotourism, mental health advocacy, and the role of media in driving social change. He is particularly interested in exploring innovative approaches that integrate technology, policy, and community engagement to address contemporary global challenges.
