Sachin Gopalan

Sachin Vijaya Gopalan is a serial entrepreneur since the age of 29, with a passion for building national programs with high economic & social impact. As the Founder and CEO of PT Chairos International Ventures, he brings domain expertise in business information, economic insights, networking events and media engagement.

Sachin is also Chairman of Asean Economic Forum (Singapore), Founder & CEO of Indonesia Economic Forum, co-Founder of Orbit Future Academy, Chairman of IndoFringe International Festival of Performing Arts, Board of Directors of InvestorTrust Media and Director of Cultus Education & Technology Services (India). In 2017, he founded the Indonesia Education Forum and the Habibie Festival of Technology & Innovation. He is a Board Member of Indonesia-India Business Forum and Advisory Board Member of Inotek Foundation.

He is the initiator of nationwide programs such as Orbit Guru Merdeka to digitally skill 1 million teachers, ASEAN Youth for Digital Action (AYDA) to skill 100,000 youth in 10 countries and IndoFringe@Sekolah which aims to train students from 10,000 schools across Indonesia to organize hyper-localized music, dance & arts festivals.

In his career spanning 34 years, he has been the founding CEO of BeritaSatu Media Holdings, among the largest media groups in Indonesia with several TV channels, newspapers, magazines, news portals, radio channels and over 125 events a year. He was the CEO of Qtv & Swara Channel, Marketing Director of CastleAsia and Regional Marketing Manager of Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy.

Sachin is a University Gold Medalist in Bachelor of Engineering (Production) from the College of Engineering, Anna University, one of India's premiere engineering institutions.
