I grew up in small village in Uzbekistan, started working as a seller in my Dad's shop when i was 12. As far as I am concerned, it was better than school, but it does not mean I had not paid attention to my studies, I was first in my class from academic perspective. So holiday was market, and school time was as like holiday to me.
I learned real human character from early childhood, learned communication, deal making and storytelling. Then i started to make my own money and took responsibility of my own.
My grandfather had 7000 book shelved library, it was big part of my childhood, I would say i lived many life there.
I learned english and moved to South Korea. It would ve been usual imgrant story but quarantine happened. There was not any manual work which student could have made living out of it because stores and restaurants was closed and part time job marked was shrink. Survival mode kicked of and as Oil industry giant said: every disaster is opportunity... I used it in my favor. If someone came to S. Korea that time, 10 days isolation was mandatory and government facility was 1000$. I rented one room for 300$ and sold 10 days for 500$. I managed 3 buildings in the end.
I moved back to Uzbekistan, many wonder why, but answer is simple: I had to use time machine, meaning, moving back to Uzbekistan for S. Korea is like going back to 50 years. Currently, I am stakeholder of most modern startups in Uzbekistan, using AI and VR in some industries
