Professional and academic background
Samuel has completed his Master of Business Administration at MANCOSA (Graduate School of Business in South Africa). He works for Eduardo Mondlane University since 2009. From 2018 to 2021 he was the Director of the Business and Entrepreneurship College of Chibuto (a member of the Eduardo Mondlane University). from 2010 to 2017, he was the country manager of an IFC (International Finance Corporation – member of the World Bank Group) project aimed at supporting SMEs management. It was called Mozambique SMEToolkit, an online platform used to assist SMEs owners and Managers by providing free management tools for them.

International Accreditation
1. Accredited Master Trainer by IFC – since 2016
2. Accredited Instructional Designer by IFC – since 2018
3. Certified TPMA Assessor by the LPI – since 2018
4. Certified trainer by IFC (since 2010) and by the LPI (since 2018)

As a Master Trainer he trains' trainers teaching them competences to prepare, delivery and report on competence based training for adult learners (andragogy), using international standards training methodology. He’s the only IFC accredited Master Train who can train in both English and Portuguese languages.
As an Instructional Designer he designs training manuals for training firms and/or train people to be able to create or to improve training manuals for adult learners.
During the last two years he has trained 25 Instructional Designers and he has developed more than 10 competence based training manuals for the Eduardo Mondlane University under the Quality Assurance Project, funded by the Government of Sweden.
As an Assessor he assesses trainer’s performance using the most advanced assessment methodology for trainer’s certification. It’s called Trainer Performance and Monitoring Assessment (TPMA). Since 2018 he has assessed more than 45 trainers for the IFC-LPI TPMA.

He's the Owner and DIrector of the consulting fir called Mwalimu Consulting and Research, E.I. which was created in 2012. MWALIMU is an international small consultancy firm with a good potential of growing. In the last five years MWALIMU Consultancy and Research delivered it’s services in several African countries under agreements with different clients across the continent.
