Sara Fakir

Passionate about entrepreneurship and sustainable development, Sara is Co-founder of IdeiaLab, an entrepreneurship support organization, which believes that entrepreneurship has the power to transform the world. ideiaLab, empowers people, accelerate learning and the growth of companies, and contribute to strengthening resilient, sustainable and inclusive ecosystems, societies and economies.   Sara plays an active role in the company business development and participates in building an innovative and inclusive business ecosystem in the country and region. It enables new businesses, connects people, places and opportunities. Much of her work is devoted to women and young entrepreneurs.   Entrepreneur, facilitator, mentor and business angel, she has over 18 years of experience in business development, in Mozambique and Angola. Sara is a founding member of AMBA (Mozambican Business Angels Association), na Allumni of the UK International Leaders Program and Ambassador of Mozambique for WIA (Women in Africa – a network of women leaders from the 54 African countries)   She has a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from INDEC-ISCTE (Portugal), and a degree in Economics from ISEG – UTL (Portugal). Sara is a certified FEMTECH Master Trainer; She is certified in Decision Making Tools for Startups and Growing Companies (GrowthWheel), Incubator Management (INFODEV), Innovation Policy (World Bank Institute) and Andragogy: Adult Education (Aliança Empreendedora). Sara has been invited as a guest speaker and specialist in entrepreneurship in different national and international conferences and events and acted as an international consultant in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation. She has done this by always maintaining a sense of humor and humility, spreading laughter and joy wherever she goes.
