Sarita Evans

Sarita L. Evans is fondly known to her clients as the “Entrepreneur Doula,” for helping hundreds of entrepreneurs “birth” and nurture their business visions over the last 20 years. She is a highly sought-after Business Trainer, Mentor, Coach, Public Speaker, and Consultant. Sarita has owned and operated several successful businesses, served on the faculty of Women’s Initiative for Self-Employment (WISE) for 15 years (approx. 900 clients), Uptima Entrepreneur Cooperative as a business trainer and mentor for 5 years (approx. 150 clients), and also served on the Board of Conscious Capitalism of the Bay Area for several years. Sarita currently, serves the community of entrepreneurs, as a mentor and workshop presenter with and on behalf of SCORE (approx. 35 clients). She combines her love of teaching, mentoring, and entrepreneurial expertise to support business owners and community organizations to pursue their mission, achieve their goals, and build a stronger community.

Sarita began her first business venture at the age of 23 years old when she started a Black Hair Care and Beauty Supply company - she has not stopped since. Sarita successfully built and operated Ladies Workout Express, a women’s fitness center serving over 1000 women. She also founded, designed, and operated Move Around Fitness, a holistic corporate wellness program, featuring a uniquely designed mobile fitness studio.

In keeping with her focus and commitment to health and wellness, Sarita became Co-Founder and CFO of Spectrum CannaLabs, Inc., an analytical cannabis testing facility that ensures the safety and content of legally sold cannabis products in the State of California, USA.

Sarita holds a B.A. in Communications and Business Administration from the University of Denver, and a Juris Doctorate (JD) from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. She also is a licensed California and Georgia Real Estate Broker.
