Satrupa Ghosh
Dr Satrupa Ghosh is Professor of Innovation, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship at Hult International Business School. She holds a PhD in Innovation from Cardiff Business School, with research interests in entrepreneurship, sustainability, and business model innovation.
Her research examines business accelerators as critical intermediaries within entrepreneurial ecosystems, alongside consumer behaviour studies, including a case study on the action-intention gap in fashion consumption. Recent publications include work in California Management Review on circular cities and circular business models, and research on business model adaptations for managing end-of-life challenges in green energy sectors.
With over twenty years' industry experience in venture capital and marketing, she maintains active research collaborations whilst teaching at Hult's London campus.

Mentoring Experience
During seven years at a London VC firm, I managed over 100 portfolio companies from seed through Series A, focusing on business model validation, scaling operations, and fundraising strategy. I previously worked with London City Incubator, supporting early-stage ventures at City University.
Currently Professor of Entrepreneurship at Hult International Business School, where I mentor emerging founders whilst delivering masterclasses on growth strategies, sustainable business models, and investment readiness across European and Asia-Pacific startup communities.
My mentoring draws from practical experience raising capital, building teams, and navigating market challenges. I specialise in helping founders develop robust business models, particularly in sustainability and circular economy sectors, combining operational expertise with academic research insights.
Focus areas include early-stage validation, fundraising preparation, and sustainable scaling strategies.
