Saygın Baban was born in İzmir and completed the Industrial Engineering of TOBB University of Economics and Technology with a high honor degree. He began his professional career as an Assistant Specialist at The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey in 2010. He worked as the "Project Coordinator" in many national and international projects on vocational education and employment. At the international level, he has presented and represented his country in many platforms, including the Eurochambres, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the United Nations. Saygın contributes to the development and entrepreneurship at The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey as Head of Sectors and Entrepreneurship Department since April 2020. And he coordinates the work of the Women and Young Entrepreneurs Boards affiliated to TOBB at the policy level. In addition, he conducts studies on the evaluation of start-ups and finding investors as a Member of the Board of Directors at ODTÜTeknokentYatırım A.Ş.. He established MEYBEM Vocational Qualification and Certification Centers, affiliated to TOBB in 2014 and he has been the General Manager of the company since 2015. Saygın has master's degrees in Statistics from Hacettepe University and Financial Management from Çankaya University. Saygın speaks English and basic Russian.
