Weyonje Initiative Ltd is a dynamic Ugandan social enterprise committed to redefining urban sustainability through innovative waste management and professional environmental services. Founded in response to the growing waste crisis in Kampala, Weyonje provides smart, practical, and scalable solutions that promote clean cities, improve public health, and create green economic opportunities.
Operating under the guiding motto “One Mission, One Planet,” Weyonje specializes in four core areas: waste collection and recycling, environmental advocacy, eco-product manufacturing, and professional cleaning services for homes, offices, markets, events, and institutions. Our cleaning division ensures that public and private spaces remain hygienic, safe, and environmentally friendly—complementing our wider sanitation and waste management goals.
We produce eco-friendly products such as briquettes, compost, eco-construction materials, energy-saving stoves, and smart litter/waste bins. These innovations help reduce environmental pollution, cut carbon emissions, and empower communities through job creation and skill development.
