Sebastián Monsú

I am Sebastián Monsú, an Argentine engineer, educator and ecosystem builder working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, space technology and entrepreneurship. My purpose is to turn knowledge into opportunity: connecting people, institutions and emerging technologies so that ideas can become solutions and sustainable ventures. I combine technical expertise, educational leadership and institutional relationships to connect Argentina's entrepreneurial talent with the world.

As General Director of Innovatón and a board member of Promptear, I work to connect universities, companies and entrepreneurs around applied innovation. I create pathways from learning to experimentation and practical applications. I see entrepreneurship as a collective capability: founders need access to knowledge, trusted collaborators, organizations willing to test new ideas and networks that can open doors beyond their immediate environment.

At VENG, an Argentine space company, I advise senior leadership on artificial intelligence and organizational transformation. This work explores how AI can strengthen engineering, improve access to institutional knowledge and support collaboration across complex projects. It gives me a practical perspective on the conditions that innovation requires inside established organizations, and on the opportunities for entrepreneurs to address real industry needs. My approach is to augment human expertise, with people remaining responsible for judgment, purpose and decisions.

I also teach Space Communications Systems in the Space Engineering program at Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM). Education is central to my contribution: I want students and professionals to develop the confidence and capabilities to create, collaborate and solve meaningful problems. My work on AI learning experiences and digital tutors explores how emerging technologies can make knowledge more accessible and support different learning journeys. For me, talent development and entrepreneurship development belong in the same conversation.

International collaboration is a priority. I am helping advance the Argentina-Nevada Chamber of Commerce, Innovation and Technology initiative, connecting stakeholders around AI, education, energy, critical minerals and space-related innovation. This work reflects a conviction that international relationships become valuable when they lead to specific exchanges, joint exploration and practical next steps. I build two-way bridges: helping Argentine talent reach international networks while bringing knowledge, partners and opportunities into Argentina.

Across these roles, my contribution is to connect groups that often work separately. I can engage with engineers about technical feasibility, educators about capabilities, business leaders about adoption and entrepreneurs about the problems they are trying to solve. I aim to turn those conversations into a shared agenda with clear responsibilities and next steps. I value curiosity, generosity and follow-through, and I believe that trust grows when people see collaboration produce something useful.

Argentina has scientific talent, entrepreneurial creativity and experience solving problems under constraints. I want to help more of that potential reach customers, collaborators and global opportunities. My areas of interest include AI-enabled entrepreneurship, deep tech, space applications, university-industry collaboration and technology-driven education. I am especially motivated by initiatives that help people move from being users of technology to becoming creators of solutions, businesses and opportunities for others.

I would welcome the opportunity to serve as a GEN ambassador in Argentina, working with existing national leadership and community partners. I would bring my experience across education, industry and innovation networks to help connect relevant organizations, identify emerging entrepreneurs and encourage participation in GEN opportunities. My proposed contribution would focus on practical activities: convening conversations around founder needs, connecting expertise to real challenges and developing collaborations that can continue beyond a single event.

I would approach this responsibility with a clear commitment to service and measurable learning. Success would mean useful introductions, active partnerships, stronger founder capabilities and opportunities that participants can actually pursue. I would listen to local priorities, share lessons openly and help connect Argentina's ecosystem with peers internationally. My ambition is to contribute as a reliable local connector and an engaged global collaborator helping more people turn their knowledge and initiative into ventures that create value for their communities.
